Where are you based?
I am based in Amsterdam, but I work with families all over the world and do my consultations over the phone.

No. I will support you throughout the program, however it is very important that you teach your child good and healthy sleep habits yourself and be consistent with it. However, I do offer at home services and give personal support for the first night. Please note that this is only available in Amsterdam. For more information please get in touch and see my packages for additional services.
Absolutely. I support your preferred feeding style, which could include breastfeeding, formula or combination feeding.
Independent sleep has not been successfully completed while sharing a bed. If you are ready to transfer your child to his/her own bed, even while still sharing a room, we can start working together on healthy and independent sleep skills.
No. If you prefer to share a room with your child, that is absolutely fine. My programs are suitable for room sharing as long as the child sleeps in his/her own bed. The main goal is to allow your child to fall asleep independently.
It is never too early to introduce good and healthy sleep habits to your child’s routine. Ideally, you can lay the foundation of good sleep habits (e.g. recognise sleepiness or hunger, establish an appropriate sleeping and feeding rhythm, set up a ‘day and night’ pattern) already from the beginning to ensure your baby will be falling asleep with ease and sleeping through the night by the time they are developmentally ready.
I offer a 15 minute FREE discovery call, which includes an in-depth discussion that helps me to understand your specific situation and any sleep related problem your child might have. After our conversation, I will suggest which package would be most appropriate for you and your child.
Yes, absolutely. Whatever your new situation is, I can help you creating an enjoyable bedtime experience by using positive reinforcement, gentle techniques and firm but fair boundaries.
Yes, that is possible. We will discuss the exact situation in detail and create a plan that works for all family members.
Yes. I am also working with twins/multiples. Please get in touch for more information.
There are some great books available on the topic of child sleep. However, books simply can’t react on your specific situation and won’t be able to answer any questions.
It is especially important for me to work closely with families to gain a full understanding of their situation and concerns and work according their parenting styles. I do not propose a single method because each child is unique. Instead, I use a holistic approach to offer you a detailed and personalised sleep plan that meets your parenting style and takes into account the needs of your child according to his or her age, development, current routine and your family’s lifestyle. I will be there along the way, encourage you and tell you what to expect. We will be in exchange every day for the duration of the program and work closely together so we can immediately modify the sleep plan if necessary and react on specific circumstances. This extensive support is THE most important benefit of hiring a sleep consultant.
There is so much conflicting material available on the internet, in books, on television or from different people’s opinions. Therefore, it can be extremely difficult to know what to do and where to start. As with all change, it can be helpful having an experienced professional at your side who will guide you through the whole process and encourage you when things are difficult.
No, certainty not. I do not use or advocate ‘cry it out’ as a sleep guidance method. I want to assure you that as part of my program you will never have to leave your child to ‘cry it out’, nor will I ask you to leave your child alone if this doesn’t feel right for you.
The reason why my program is so effective is that it lets you develop a plan that you feel comfortable with. Change can be initially unsettling for anyone and you can expect that making changes to your child’s sleep habits will most likely involve some amount of protest. However, you will be there to comfort your child at any times and provide support through the learning process.
Above all, remember that letting your child living in a perpetual state of tiredness is far worse than a few nights of eventually increased crying. Children who sleep reliably well will cry much less in the long run.
